In just a little over a week, my fiance and I will board a plane to begin step one on a journey to Thailand. We are travelling to Thailand in order to teach English, armed with little more than personal teaching experience and a National Geographic book about the country.

We made this epic decision last August, sitting in the back of a car, returning from Chincoteague, Va.

As our 2015-2016 school years wind down here in New Jersey, we are just gearing up for 2 months in Thailand. Trying to be ever-prepared, I checked out 3 ESL/ELL books from my local library, though we will not know our school locations or age groups until we arrive in Hua Hin. Truthfully, we will be mostly relying on past experience, adaptability, and our positive energies (all of which we have!) in our arsenals.
